Grants are non-repayable funds given to you by education institutions to pay for your university education. DestinyEDU education grants are paid directly to the school where you enroll. The grant pays towards your tuition and expenses.
Grants are awarded to students based on need and they are not paid back. A scholarship is financial aid awarded to students based on merit. It could be based on certain qualities, such as the proven academic or athletic ability. Most scholarships are usually accompanied by conditions such as maintaining a certain GPA to continue receiving the aid. DestinyEDU grants are awarded and you are not required to pay them back.
Tuition to attend American universities can be as much as $20,000 to $100,000 per year. Through education grants, DestinyEDU has reduced tuition to 10% of that normal cost. These grants can be accessed only through DestinyEDU.
The cost of attending an American university is $2600 per academic year. This fee covers all cost to attend.
A payment plan is available for each academic year. The Associate, Bachelor and Master plan has three payments: I. $1400 is the initial payment due before commencement of the program. II. $700 is due at the commencement of the second quarter. III. $500 is due at the commencement of the third and final quarter. The Doctoral plan has three payments: I. $900 is the initial payment due before commencement of the program. II. $900 is due at the commencement of the second quarter. III. $900 is due at the commencement of the third and final quarter. * There are no interest charges for choosing a payment plan.
The grant money is placed into an account that may only be used by the school to pay for tuition and school-related expenses.
Each academic year has three quarters. Each quarter consists of 10 weeks. Depending on the type of degree and how often you start each term you may complete your degree in less than the traditional time to complete a two or four-year program.
A quarter is a 10-week period of time. There are 3 quarters in an academic year. An academic school year is 30 weeks(approximately 8 calendar months with some school breaks in between.
You may start an academic term, that is, a quarter, every 5 weeks.
You may take extra credit hours in years 2, 3, and 4. For year 1, undergraduates may not take extra hours.
If you are unable to complete the full year of academic coursework, you may continue after completion of the current term.
Your tuition is paid in US funds directly to the university of your choice. All payments are non-refundable. DestinyEDU advisors will provide clear instructions when you are ready to proceed. Select from the following methods: I. Use 'Form A' from a local bank to receive a favourable exchange rate. II. Open a US Dollar account at a local bank and perform a transfer. III. Make a payment on your MasterCard from any local bank.
Associate's Degree: An associate's degree is a two-year post-secondary school degree. It's is a level of qualification between a secondary school diploma or GED and a bachelor's degree. Duration of programs: 17 months. Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree is a four-year post-secondary undergraduate degree. Duration of program: 34 Months Master's Degree: A master's degree is the first level of graduate study. It is a qualification granted at the post-graduate level to individuals who have successfully undergone study completing their bachelor's degree, demonstrating a high level of expertise in a specific field of study or area of professional practice. To apply for a master degree you usually must already hold a bachelor's degree. Duration of program: 11 months Doctoral Degree: To apply for a doctoral degree you must already hold a bachelor's degree or a master's degree. Duration of program: 36 months * These durations are based on completing courses on a prescribed schedule.
Associate's and Bachelor's degrees: You will need to provide a scanned copy of your secondary school certificate. Master's degree: You will need to provide a scanned copy of your secondary school diploma and a scanned copy of your undergraduate degree. Your undergraduate degree is required to be evaluated by an education standards organization for US equivalent before the first day of your second term (10 weeks after your start date). Transcript evaluation requires 7-10 business days. To be accepted to a program you must have a final GPA of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale or 2.5 on a 5.0 scale. Doctoral Degree: In addition to the Master's degree requirements, you will provide Resume/CV, Two professional references, and a sample of your scholarly writing.
Online Learning is education that takes place over the internet. Online classes are ready-made courses for you, the student, that are taught by the instructor in a virtual classroom. While traditional classes require you to be on a university campus, online programs do not require you to be physically present.
You will need to have an internet connection to access coursework. You can access library resources or public internet, such as a cafe, to securely connect to the virtual campus through the internet. You may also use a private connection at home or at your office. Our partner university support using your mobile device to access the Online Learning platform for easy, on-the-go access to courses.
